What a week. A week spent out of my comfort zone. A think I may have been a turtle. I love to keep my head in my shell. You don't get out much but you don't have much to get out for. The blood drive in Columbia about put me and your sister down. Last year we were still in shock, nothing but raw nerves this year! Being at the dorm you lived in was not fun and the visual reminders were just too much. Me and grandma had another appointment which didn't turn out like we had hoped. I prayed that I would be thankful for closed doors, they just mean that is His will, but that is easier said when all the doors ahead are open with the welcome mat out and all the flashing lights on with arrows pointing in the direction you want to go. Sometimes I think my navigation system is defective. Then yesterday we were at the victims convention to present THH to the attendees. So I got to tell 'our' story about 10 times in a row to 10 different groups of people. We got alot of support, hugs and everyone thought you were just the most handsome guy ever! I knew that! Harder to tell of your personal attributes without sounding 'mom' like! So, after that final preformance of the week- I went home and slept.
Wouldn't all this just be simplier and easier if you just would come out of hiding so I can go back to being a turtle?
